For example, one of our newest social utility; HeyCosmo Concierge, enables the user to launch robo-calls to businesses that allow those business and services to respond to your inquiries right away, while you watch anonymously. How cool is that?
Arsenal Interactive, Inc., is an eleven-person startup (as of June 2008), headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley (Mountain View), CA. The company’s focus is about bringing together telephony, social networking and Web 2.0 to create innovative, useful and fun services through HeyCosmo and partnerships. The company was founded by James Im and a few other visionaries who wanted to solve the basic communications problems of bridging the web, telephone and your daily activities by tweaking and leveraging existing communications infrastructure with proprietary technology and location-based technologies. Our social utility applications do just that. One of our applications, HeyCosmo Blaster, is an instant planner and a messenger that empowers individuals to setup an event with friends, co-workers or family by just typing a quick message about the event’s date, time and the name of the place into the web interface. It then blasts simultaneous calls to its recipients with your personalized message. Additionally, if you are trying to poll your friends for a time or place, Blaster allows for options so they can vote: "Press 1 to meet at 1:30 pm, Press 2 to meet at 2:30 pm and/or other variables." After sending out the blast, the initiator can monitor who has picked up the phone, listened to the message and voted. Another HeyCosmo application, TelEmoticon, connects as a live call that enables a caller to inject audible emoticons, emoticons similar to Instant Messaging (IM) on the internet, into a telephone conversation. Don’t feel like talking, but you’ve got to return a few phone calls? Call them up and have one of our many emoticons do it trick on a live conversation "Honey, hang-up the damn phone help me change the diapers!"
All of our HeyCosmo apps are free to use and do not require the user to download anything to their computer.
